Refund Policy
RC Shopper is an online marketplace. Some items are sold by us directly; others are sold by independent sellers who list on our storefront. Which it is shown on the product page and on your order confirmation. This policy applies to both, and the standards below are the same whoever sold the item.
Your right to return
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return, for any reason. That sits on top of your statutory right to cancel most online purchases within 14 days of delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
How to start a return
Email support@rcshopper.com with your order number and which items you want to return. We will send you return instructions, and where the item came from a third-party seller we will bring that seller in. Please do not post anything back before contacting us — unexpected parcels often cannot be matched to an order.
You do not need to approach the seller yourself. Start with us and we will handle it.
Condition
Items should come back unused and in their original packaging where there was any. Parts that have been fitted, run, cut, soldered, painted or otherwise modified cannot be returned unless they are faulty.
Return postage
You pay return postage when you have simply changed your mind. We or the seller pay it when the item is faulty, was damaged in transit, or is not what you ordered. We recommend a tracked service, because a refund can only be issued for an item that arrives.
Refunds
Once the return has been received and checked, the refund goes back to the original payment method. Refunds are typically processed within 5 to 10 working days; how quickly it then shows on your statement is up to your bank or card issuer. Original delivery charges are refunded where the return is because of a fault or our error.
Refunds for items sold by a third-party seller are still issued through RC Shopper, so you deal with one party rather than chasing a seller for your money.
Faulty or incorrect items
If something arrives faulty, damaged or incorrect, contact us and it will be repaired, replaced or refunded. Photographs of the item and the packaging help resolve it quickly. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality, and that applies to every item on this site regardless of who sold it.
If a seller does not resolve it
Where an item was sold by a third-party seller and the seller has not put things right, escalate it to us at support@rcshopper.com. We will step in, and we can refund you directly and recover the amount from the seller. See our Marketplace policy for how that works.
Statutory rights
This policy is offered in addition to your rights under UK consumer law. Nothing in it reduces those rights.
